• See you at the CMBA Home Show, March 9th - 11th.  Held at the new Civic Center.  Again this year Thomsens will be offering the opportunity to plant and take home your own tomato plant.

April

• Earn Instant Green on your purchases throughout the month!

• April 2nd.  Spring officially begins with Thomsen's opening!

• April 7th.  Thomsen's Annual Spring Seminars.  Join us for 3 new and exciting topics.  9-Noon at the Holiday Inn St. Cloud.  Open and free to all.

• April 8th.  Happy Easter.  Thomsen's Garden Center will be closed for the day.

• April 21st & 22nd.  Our Annual Spring Cleaning Garage Sale.  Save on prior season hard goods, perennials, trees & shrubs. From 50% to 75% savings.  Opening at 9am...no early birds, please.

May

• Earn Instant Green on your purchases throughout the month!

• May 13th.  Celebrate Mother's Day.  A central Minnesota tradition for over 30 years; bring mom to Thomsen's to pick out her favorite hanging basket, container or hard goods item.

• May 25th.  Family Memorial Day at Thomsen's.  Live music and face painting for the kids, at no charge.  Local Boy Scout troop will be grilling out in the Backyard.  11-3.

June

• June 16th.  Thomsen's In-House Seminar Series continues.  Join us as our experts share their knowledge on all aspects of roses.  The seminar, held at the greenhouse, begins at 10am.  No reservations, no charge.

• June 16th.  Kids activity!  While mom & dad are at the rose seminar or bring the kids just for this, an activity designed for them.  Design and decorate their own terra cotta planter.  All suppliers provided. Join us anytime from 10-2.  No charge.   

July

• Redeem your Instant Green throughout the month of July!

• July 4th.  See you at the St. Joe Parade.  Thomsen's will unveil a new flower float this summer.  Our garden center will be closed for the day.

• 16th Annual Summer Gardens Tour.  A self guided tour of 8 beautiful gardens in the St. Cloud area.  Sat Jul 14th from 9-5 and Sun Jul 15th from 11-4.  After the Tour on Sunday, join the garden owners, and other tour goers for a reception in Thomsen's Backyard Gardens.  Hor's douvres & wine tasting. 

• Theatre Under the Stars, presented by GREAT Theatre.  July 25th.  GREAT will perform live at Thomsen's.

• July 28th.  Customer Appreciation Day at Thomsen's.  Join us for food, fun, and double your Instant Green!  11-2. 
  

August

• NEW FOR 2012 - Thomsen's will present our Spring Preview 2013!
  See new annuals, perennials, basket combos, and shrubs - before they are offered to the public!  Vote on your favorite or make other recommendations for what you would like us to carry in 2013.  Held August 17th thru August 25th.  Vote, and receive a coupon on future purchases.   

September

• September 15th.  Thomsen's In-House Seminar Series.  Back by popular demand...."Fabulous Fall Decorating".  Join our own JoAnn Fleischhacker as she shares her passion & knowledge for her favorite season of the year.  Starting at 10am.  Open and free to all. 

• Pumpkin Day Saturday 22th.  10-2
  All kids receive a free pumpkin, while supplies last!  Free face painting & jumping in the inflatable.  A great family time opportunity.  Moms & Dads can take the chance to shop for fall mums, pumpkins & decor.
