Now hiring: Gardener

Position Requirements: 

Our Gardener will be involved with plant installation and maintenance of all varieties of plant material sold at out Garden Center - from annuals to trees & shrubs.  Work will be divided between our Garden Center site and client home or place of business.  Ability to design would be ideal.  Additionally, the position will have responsibilities which include container design and installation, both at the Garden Center and client location.  This is not landscape installation!  However, it is not an afternoon relaxing in the garden - small/light install may be applicable, such as mulch, edging and/or garden bed development. 

This role is both creative and hands on.  Gardening knowledge and experience is a must requirement.  Our candidate will possess an outstanding work ethic, and be able to work independently.  On any project the number one goal is Quality, so one must bring that mind set to the position.

Now hiring: Greenhouse & Nursery Technician

Position Requirements: 

We are seeking a flexible, intelligent, hardworking individual as our Greenhouse Tech.  This position requires an individual willing and able to contribute to a wide range of responsibilities, as the season develops quickly, and the demands change daily.  We are seeking someone who can take initiative, work independently, confident in making decisions and/or interacting with customers sharing knowledge and information on trees and shrubs. 

More specific responsibilities include: 

• Provide support in greenhouse operations; planting, material handling, irrigation, maintenance, etc.
  
• Provide support in logistics of retail and wholesale operations. 
  
• Ensure Nursery area is properly set up, stocked, and maintained throughout the course of the season.
• Maintenance of nursery stock.
• Delight customers with knowledgeable, sincere, and quality assistance.
• Provide support to team members by fielding nursery questions and inquiries. 
  
• Assure external sales yard is properly stocked, and appearance is consistent with company standards.
  
• Knowledgeable of safety requirements, and lead by example.
• These responsibilities imply use of equipment to include: fork life, skid steer, trucks, irrigation systems, etc.
